I..just ...posted.. WTF!!

Yeah.. Its been..what? like a year? Meh so i havent been drawing at all. A whole lot of stuff been changing around me and I'm just trying to keep up. So last night I sat down and isolated me, my sketch book and some music. I had to draw something for my mom for mothers day and shes on the "WOW crack" so I drew her character ^.^ And POOF! I can still draw! :omg: SO since last I drew I have gotten a new comp with no photoshop, my last comp that had PS crashed and burned..literally. SOO I'm trying to use this Corel Painting Essentials 4 that I got with my new bamboo tablet..And I'm so lost. Any one have experience with that program? Any advice is much appreciated :D **Especially on layers!! I'm use to the photoshop style..

So right now I'm living in Georgia with my b/f, Kenny. He's really good to me ^__^ We're out here for his Porsche training. after he completes it in June we might be coming back to Cali if there is a Porsche spot available :pray: (I HOPE!!) But we'll see.

So I have posted once more..will there be another? :paranoid: Or am I doomed to be stuck in my current level of talent due to my lack of inspiration?!! >.> Meh..we'll see :headbang:

I have a skype!! Believe it or not, skype came intalled on my iBook. :confused: I didn't know till i tried downlaoding it :blush: So Note me for my skype for OC's 'n' stuff ;P

BTW, anyone know of an OC or something similar for Mac's?? One that I can interact with well with others using windows?? :?

I am a suscriber for a year more!! :headbang: Well, it looks like you don't have to get me a subby any more, carol ^^; I got my first paycheck from my new job...wasn't much seeing as I came in between pay periods and only got a weeks worth of pay but defiantely enough to spoil myself a bit and still pay bills :D :boogie: :D Woooooooot. So yeah.... off to do the subscriber stuff.. heh heh :devilish:

Well, i got a comment from :iconkarusuman: on my parent page stating that he had posted my "Yurai Gone Anthro-Complete" on his journal... So I hopped on over to his page to find that he had used it in order to critisize some of the trends here on DA. Mine was to represent Anthro style *feels flattered even tho a newby to anthro art* But I found myself a bit offended by his remark to Anthro... I also felt personally attacked with a comment he made about my character being depicted the way she was. Well, after re-reading his journal, many things ran through my thoughts... That there are many people who critisize when their ability is somewhat "lacking"; whether in appeal, style, or just overall appearance. Then I thought that maybe he might just be an artist that "sticks to his guns". Maybe his only form of "art" is what he posts himself. So I visited his gallery to find mainly anime art and anime fanart. After discovering this ....well, i can honestly say I was a bit confused. :confused: As it goes, anime is a trend in itself..So I once again re-read his journal.... he does have some very good points about these trends but I do believe that if his intentions were to keep a soley "open-minded", prospective view on the subject, then he should have atleast asked permission to deliberately call out these artists he used as "reference".

Well, just thought I'd get some other peoples opinions, besides myself. Please, before commenting, visit his journal for your our opinion to be formed. As everyone knows, every mind and thought is unique. Don't just "follow the crowd" -----> karusuman.deviantart.com/journ…

ohhhhh, the full time work -__-

Man alive!! I am tired!! :faint: It's been since i first started deviantart, that I worked like this =___= But that was also when I drew the most so theres some positives and negatives about me going back to work after school...

Pros:
-use the time i would usually be at school for drawing again, yay!
-get more time to rest(when I get used to working this schedule again)
-$$$ CHA-CHING!! $$$
-LOVE my new job so far. Cool people and it's bitchin' to have automotive knowledge!! :boogie:
-get to be at home with my parents again :heart:

Cons:
-Gotta get use to this !@#$ again -__-v
-Can't stay up late (I be a creature of the night >___> )
-gotta get up early(^hence what I said before....NOT a morning person)
-While I'm getting use to my schedule might end up sleeping right after work.....all the way thru into the morning when I have to get up again... T___T so not cool....
-AND... I get to be at home with my parents again :drunk: (yes this is a pro and con..no mistake...)


YEPPERS!! that's about it... btw, anyone have any ideas on some inspirational music? I listen to almost anything, so drop a comment and let me know :3
